Not long ago and somewhere close by, a glowing mist filled with TRANSFORMERS energy called ENERGON came down from the sky and covered a shopping mall. The things inside came to life as little TRANSFORMERS robots! These bots can hide in plain sight as everyday objects, meaning no one knows what’s a bot and what’s not! Mischievous, funny, and super silly, these are… BOTBOTS! (Hasbro)

Transformers BotBots is a new micro collectibles range set to hit the shops just in time for Christmas 2018. We are super excited for the release of these little transformers – we love collectibles but Daddy Splat is also a massive Transformers fan and is hoping to pass that love to the boys!

The BotBots are designed around everyday objects like food, sports gear, and gardening gear and each 1-inch character can transform into a mini transformer robot.

The figures are a new range from Hasbro and there are seven different tribes to collect.

Transformers BotBots – The Jock Squad

The Jock Squad characters are Arctic Guzzlerush, Batsby, Fit Ness Monster, Kid Globber, LaceFace & Pucksie and are designed around sport equipment.

Transformers BotBots – The Techie Gang

This little bunch of gadgets and gizmos is The Techie Gang and is made up of Chilla Gorilla, Dr. Moggly, Fomo, Goob Toob, Raddhax, Screen Fiend, Skillz Punk and S.A Cheez

Transformers BotBots – The Shed Heads

The Shed Head tribe names are still yet to be released but we will let you know as soon as their names are revealed!

Transformers BotBots – The Sugar Shocks

The Sugar Shocks are little food items and are made up of: Cocoa Crazy, Lolly Licks, Nrjeez, Plop Father, Remorsel, Sippy Slurps, Sprinkleberry D’uhnut, Unilla Icequeencone and Waddlepop.

Transformers BotBots – The Toilet Troop

It wouldn’t be 2018 without a collectible tribe based around poop and toilets! The Toilet Troop are: Frohawk, King Toots, Nobeeoh, Poo Sham, Sergeant Scrubadub, Stinkosaurus Rex and Sudsbeard. I think these are going to be the boys favourite tribe!

Transformers BotBots – The Greaser Gang

These little fast food transforming robots are called The Greaser Gang and include: Angry Cheese, Duderoni, Fottle Barts, Hawt Diggity, S’up Dawg, Shredder Jack, Spud Muffin and Twerple Burple.

Transformers BotBots – The Backpack Bunch

The Backpack Bunch still haven’t been revealed but they are tiny little school things like pencils, lunchboxes and scissors. We will update you on their names as soon as we know!

We don’t have a concrete release date for the UK yet, or know which stores they will be stocked in but we will update you as soon as we have the information. We would expect them to be stocked in Smyths & The Entertainer as well as some supermarkets.

It looks like these BotBots will be available in single-bot Mystery Blind Bags, 5-packs and 8-packs and we hope that there will also be some themed playsets to go along with the various tribes.

Micro-collectibles have always been the most popular videos on our channel, the combination of children being able to collect them and trade them with their friends, mixed with the low cost of the blind bags usually makes them a success. We are excited to see how Transformers BotBots will be received.
