Smashers Series 2 Gross

We have been patiently awaiting the release of Smashers Series 2 in the UK for a while now. We’d read in the industry magazines they were coming soon but there was no indication of date.

We loved Series 1 of Smashers. The boys love the smashing aspect, and we have enjoyed collecting all of the characters and adding up our smash points. Over on YouTube our Smashers videos are some of the most popular videos with our fans.

We were overjoyed when we spotted them on an unscheduled trip to Smyths! Only the 8-packs were available on the shelves so we grabbed a few to check out the new characters.

We were even more excited to receive a package from Zuru Toys a few days later, especially when we opened it and saw that they had sent us some more Smashers Series 2 toys to open, and this time we had the Puke Pizza Collectors Tin which wasn’t available in the shops yet!

Well, what can we say about Smashers Series 2 other than – AWESOME!! We loved series 1 so much but these have just taken it to the next level. They have worked in the very popular and trending gross slime theme that we have seen over so many other toys this season. The characters are great, and well thought-out, and we love how the design of the balls has changed to an eyeball.

Smashing them is lots of fun, and the new glow in the dark and ooze dudes have already piqued the boys interest in collecting and finding the rare characters.

The Smashers Series 2 also has a new Smash Bus – this series called a Sludge Bus. We have been on the lookout for one in the UK so that we can make another of our ever popular bus tournament videos so we hope to find one soon. The Sludge Bus has a caterpault plunger which slings the characters over into the toilet. It doubles as a carry case for the Smashers too, and we found the original Smash Bus very handy for keeping all of our Smashers Series 1 collection together.

There are over 100 smashers to collect again, and so much fun to be had completing the smashers collection.

You can buy Smashers in the UK from most toy stores and supermarkets, and they are great pocket money toys.
